BigCommerce vs EcomIndex

BigCommerce sends catalogs to AI channels and opens stores to AI assistants. None of it shows which brands AI answers name in your category, or which sites they cite. EcomIndex does, from your store's address.

BigCommerce and EcomIndex

Keep using these

  • The Ads and Listings on Google channel, so your catalog reaches Merchant Center.
  • Feedonomics or PayPal Store Sync, if you use them, for AI shopping channels.
  • Merchant Center's AI performance insights, for your share of Google's AI shopping results.

What EcomIndex adds

  • The competitors AI answers name across up to three engines, counted out of every completed answer.
  • The websites those answers cite, so you know who to pitch.
  • Checks built for BigCommerce stores: we read your product and category lists from your sitemap, then your pages, policies, structured data and GTINs (Playbook).
  • A 90-day plan built on your Search Console, or the work done for you.

How they work together

The report needs only your store's address: no app and no login.

The Playbook reads your Search Console and your public pages, and its instructions name the places you'll make each fix: Product Identifiers for GTINs, Settings > Website > Search Engine Robots, Merchant Center.

For Get on the shelf, you add us as a user with permissions for products, storefront and content only, never orders, payments or customers. We send the exact settings.
